Accessibility Statement

Oregon WINGS and The Arc Oregon are committed to providing a website that is accessible to people of all abilities. Our shared goal is to ensure that the information on this site is clear, usable, and supportive of informed decision-making for individuals, families, and professionals across Oregon.

Roles and Responsibilities

Oregon WINGS Committee

The Oregon WINGS Committee is responsible for the accuracy, clarity, and ongoing review of all content published on this site.

The Arc Oregon

The Arc Oregon hosts oregonwings.org and is responsible for the website’s technical infrastructure, design system, and accessibility practices. We work to ensure that the site remains functional, readable, and easy to navigate for all users.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) outline how to make digital content more accessible for people with disabilities. These guidelines include three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

We strive for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across oregonwings.org. Some pages or documents may not yet fully meet all criteria due to technical limitations.

Ongoing Improvements

We regularly review website structure, color contrast, navigation, document accessibility, and compatibility with assistive technologies. This statement may be updated periodically to reflect improvements and changes to our accessibility practices.
